Paul
was born in Essex, England, in 1940, the son of a talented amateur
painter. Learning from his father and encouraged by his art
master at school it was, however, 23 years before he decided to follow
his creative instinct and make oil painting his career.
Paul's
pictures have been bought by collectors throughout the U.S.A., Canada,
The Middle East, Ceylon and West Africa, but he naturally remains best
known in Western Europe, the United Kingdom and Germany in particular.
Like
most artists Paul is never satisfied with his work, always striving to
improve and add knowledge to his brush by studying the work of other
painters, both past and present, especially still life painting which
has become his passion.
